Micro Needling is also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) and involves using a tool called a Derma Pen with tiny needles at the end that make little holes or needle pricks in the top layer of the skin.

These tiny pinpricks act as a bunch of mini injuries which kicks skin into healing mode and stimulates collagen and elastin production. This process plumps skin and improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and pores.

The whole process takes around 20 – 30 minutes and, while it involves needles in your face, the process is pretty painless, however pain tolerance levels vary from person to person. A topical anesthetic cream is used for the numbing before beginning and is left on through the procedure and every effort is make to make to keep the client comfortable during the procedure.
